Hi George,
Just checking out your blog. Good stuff! Have really enjoyed your comments on the futureag.blogspot.com as well. I’m sure your church in Santa Barbara will see amazing growth and will not stay at 100 very long. I noticed on the aforementioned futureag site that you recommended some writings by Euguene Peterson. I really like his writings as well, especially his works on pastoral theology. If you haven’t already read them here are a few that I would highly recommend:
Under the Unpredictable Plant
Five Smooth Stones for Pastoral Work
The Unnecessary Pastor
Working the Angles
Blessings on you and your ministry
Mr. Wood,
Pastor Albert Anderson is still waiting for an answer as to why you excommunicted him.
Similarly, why did you allow the North West District Presbytry to commit criminal fraud by soliciting donations for illegal CareNet.
For anyone else reading this, Mr. Wood refused to talk with me personally on this.
This is not going to go away.
Sincerely,
Ron Barlean

Chris:
Thank you for your kind words and for the book recommendations!
Ron:
I think you’re confusing me with my father. I’m George P. Wood. He’s George O. Wood. Perhaps he hasn’t responded to you personally because you contacted the wrong person.
George
george,
That’s hlilarious…being mistaken for your father. Bet that happens often! Sounds like Ron is a little perturbed.
Hi George Paul,
I have found the comments on the futureagblogspot.com interesting, to say the least. I’m writing this to you personally as I am not a/g (PAOC, I guess). I agree with you about the absentee voting. Sometimes I worked for Canada elections and was absolutely appalled by the people who had no idea for whom to vote. I overheard comments such as “I’ll just vote for the first name(s) on the list.” If this happens in on site voting, how much more would it apply in cases of absentee voting.
We were to thrilled that your dad was elected at Council
